Why it is called SAGE

SAGE was a person before it ever became a brand.

She was my sister-cousin. In 2014 we lost her to breast cancer, and loving her through it taught me what no pamphlet could: how to love somebody while being scared, and how to sit beside them when there is nothing left to fix.

Years later I became the primary caregiver for my mother, her aunt, as she entered hospice. That is when the name made sense. Not a memorial. A living continuation of love.

SAGE means wisdom, the kind caregivers earn without asking. It is the herb I burn to clear a room. And it is a promise: Support. Advocacy. Guidance. Empowerment.

You should not have to disappear just because someone you love needs care.
